Lowry Park Zoo - Saturday, November 8, 2014

We are participating at the zoo's fundraiser event again this year! Join us at the 28th annual Zoofari at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. Devour food from more than 50 local restaurants. Enjoy open bars. Then party down with live music throughout the zoo! Stop by and see our artwork at Art Safari just inside the main gate in the Garden Grill building. Participants will receive a discount code for purchases of our prints from Fine Art America through the end of the month.
Tampa Museum of Art - Five By Five: Small Art For A Good Cause
October 17, 2014 - Tickets $10 at door, Art for sale $25 each to benefit the individual artist programs of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County.
Pat donated a mixed media of a cactus with a paper flower and a poppies on Yupo paper. David started with a photo of a cross-section of a Tulip and made 2 prints. He cut the flower from the top print and curved its edges outward with small pieces of foam core.

This year's show was judged by Michelle Barron, a local artist and art instructor at HCC. Her review of Canyon X #3 follows: "Expert composition with the ambiguity of abstraction - natural rock forms become swirling fabric. Luscious color, nice framing of composition with dark values on left and right lower corner."

Patricia E Beebe was the North Tampa Art League Artist of the Month for March, 2014. You could see and purchase original watercolor paintings from her show at the New Tampa Regional Library. These works of art showcase a variety of techniques that uniquely capture the feel of each environment. The librarian has the show price list and will assist you with your purchase. A write-up of the artist and show was published in the March 5th Northeast Tampa edition of the Tampa Tribune. As always, prints are available directly from our Fine Art America gallery.
The library is open Monday-Wednesday, 10am-9pm, from 12pm-8pm on Thursday, on Friday and Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday 12:30pm-5pm.
